Home Visits

Doctor's bagHome visits can be requested by ringing the surgery before 10:00. It is important that we have your current phone number as a doctor may ring you back to discuss your problem and to discuss alternatives to a home visit if appropriate. If it is an urgent problem which the doctor feels can't wait then an ambulance may be suggested.

Please note that in the time takes to do one home visit several patients could be seen in a well equipped consulting room at the surgery.

Home visits are for terminally ill and truly housebound patients. Parents naturally worry about moving unwell babies and children. It is quite safe to do so and means your child will receive quicker treatment at the surgery.
